Directions to the Church
Saint Bart's is located in the Highlands neighborhood of White Plains adjacent to Scarsdale. Our address is 82 Prospect Street. Almost all roads in Westchester lead to White Plains.
The key streets to look for from wherever you are coming from are Lexington, Bryant, Post Road and Soundview. Once you find one of those streets, you are on your way.
From Metro North
Get off at White Plains Station (the Southeast or North White Plains Trains)
Ask taxi to take you to Prospect St. and Sterling Ave. Go South on Lexington Avenue and, at the top of the hill [past Post Rd, and Maple Ave] you will see St. Bernard's Roman Catholic church.
Take a right onto Prospect St.
From GW Bridge, Henry Hudson and 287 East
Take Henry Hudson North.
Henry Hudson becomes the Sawmill.
Enter Westchester County
Take Cross County Parkway (exit 4) East
you will immediately see a choice - Hutchinson or the Bronx/Sprain.
Both are fine.
if you stay on the right you will take the bronx sprain (exit 6). Take that exit.
Go Bronx/Sprain North.
You are now on the Sprain. You want to get on the Bronx River Parkway North.
From Bronx River Parkway North
The first exit after cross county west is Bronx River North.
Take Bronx River North to exit 15, Fenimore Rd.
Take exit 15 (Fenimore Rd.)
Off the exit take a right
Continue until it ends [there is a fire station on the left]
Take a left (Rt. 22)
Right after you enter White Plains
Look for Soundview Avenue.
Take a right onto Soundview.
At the first stop sign, take a left onto Prospect St.
At the first stop sign on the corner is the church.
OR if you pass Soundview,
The road forks into Maple and Post Road
Take the right fork, and then the first right onto Sterling.
Right before the first intersection at Prospect on your right
is a driveway to the back of the church.
*If you pass exit 15, take exit 21 onto Main street.
Then take a right onto Lexington and See Below*
From Tappan Zee Bridge and Highway Rt. 87
Take exit to 287 East (White Plains)
On 287 east continue until Exit 5
Exit five brings you onto rt. 119.
** Take Rt. 119 – stay in center-right lane.
You will pass Comp USA on your left and City Limits Diner on your right
Rt. 119 turns left naturally.
Go underneath railroad tracks.
From Lexington Avenue
Take a right at Lexington Ave (where the Galleria Mall and Sears begins).
Continue up Lexington. Stay in the right lanes.
Pass Post Road (the projects will be on the left, a car dealership on the right)
Pass Maple.
Go to the top of the hill at the blinking light, Where you will see a Roman Catholic church. Take a right onto Prospect St.
At the first stop sign you will see St. Bartholomew’s.
From Bronx River Parkway South
Take a right of the exit after Old Tarry Town Road
The County Center is on your right.
Take a left onto Rt. 119.
Continue as ** above
From Tappan ZEE
Take 287 exit.
Take 287 Rt 5
Continue as instructed at the * above.
Via the Hutchinson Parkway North
Continue until exit 23N
And then follow until the * as 95 North
Via 95 North or South
From I-95 North (New York City)
Continue until Exit 18 Towards White Plains (north)
Go 4 miles North on Mamaroneck AVENUE.
Pass Ridgeview.
Pass Gedney Way [the Burke Hospital is on your right]
Take a left onto Bryant.
**Bryant naturally turns right and becomes LEXINGTON AVE.
Continue up Lexington Ave.
At the top of the hill is a blinking light
On the left is a ROMAN CATHOLIC church.
Take a left at the blinking light onto Prospect St.
At the first stop sign on your right you will see an Episcopal church.
Find Street Parking
From I-95 South (Connecticut)
Continue until the exit onto 287 (the last exit in CT.)
Until Exit 8 (Westchester Avenue)
Go up ramp (in right lane) towards the Light
At light take a left onto North Ave (Rt. 127)
North Avenue turns left.
Stay in Right Lane.
At Bryant (Trinity Lutheran Church is on your left) take a right.
Continue down Bryant and follow as ** above
