The Rev. Marsha Bacon Glover

Mother Glover began her ministry on All Saint's Day, 2007, as the Priest Associate of St. Bartholomew's Church. Mother Glover's portfolio includes Christian Formation for all ages, welcoming and outreach. St. Bartholomew's is delighted to have her on staff, and looks forward to sharing her many gifts with the community.

Mother Glover was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. and J.D. She has served as Senior Assistant County Attorney for the Westchester County Attorney's office, and Director of Legal Services and Assistant Secretary of General Foods Corporation.

After discerning a call to the priesthood, Mother Glover was graduated from Yale Divinity School in 1994. As a priest, she has served St. Mary the Virgin in Chappaqua, St. James in Manhattan and Christ Church in Rye. She most recently served as Rector of St. Peter's Church in the Bronx for nearly seven years.

White Plains has been Mother Glover's home all her life. "I love this community and have been active in its endeavors," she said. "I have worked with the Grace Church Community Center, The Greater White Plains Council of Community Services, Corporate United Way Campaigns and the White Plains Schools Principal's Advisory Committee."

She has two adult children. Her daughter, Kaiama, is a graduate of Harvard (B.A.) and Columbia University (PhD.) and is a Professor of French Literature at Columbia. Her son, Gene, is a graduate of Yale University and is a professional photographer with his own post-production company. He lives in Berlin, Germany.

The church now has two different theological traditions, The Chicago and Yale Schools, represented.
